After a long lock down from the covid 19 pandemic, we conducted a token hunt over 4 different towns this weekend, Rocky, Gladstone, Bundaberg and Mackay.
We did a test run a few weeks ago when the first restrictions were lifted and it seemed like a great idea. This weekend we had a cryptic clue to solve to find the name of the parks in each town, a very clever concept. It’s not all about detecting but having to solve the puzzle first was a new one for us. It was quite challenging, but enjoyable.
We certainly done some cleaning up of the parks by the rubbish that was found and posted on our facebook members page. The token’s were quite elusive to find, many of us spent a lot of time out chasing the array of different tokens placed in the local parks.
However, Leeann found the Silver Stunner, as Marvin called it, in Rockhampton just a few hours before the hunt was ending. Congratulations to Leeann on the win, great detecting. She found it using her new XP ORX that she had purchased recently.
Thanks everyone for the fun weekend. Enjoy the pictures guys.
