Beach Hunt and Club Meeting July 2020

Was a nice day at the beach last Sunday the 26th July, perfect weather, good company and lots of detecting. We welcomed a few new members to our club, was good to meet you all and we look forward to further outings. We were hunting near an old WW2 training ground, we all got our fair share of bullet casings, a few old style pewter buttons, the normal pocket change, keys, old time locks and other nick-nacks.

June 2020 Club Meeting

It was a good club detecting day we had on Saturday, the weather was perfect and we had a big park to find some goodies. At first the finds were hard to come by, just the usual aluminium can slaw and bottle tops… but late in the afternoon we found a patch that gave up some really nice old relics. Some of the finds include, military buttons, an apostle spoon, printing plates, pennys, buckles, suspender clips dating back many years in history. Thank you to the members for coming along on Saturday and I hope you enjoyed yourselves.

Here is a few pics from the day out.
