Was another good meeting on Sunday the 28th of March. We had a good showing of members, 17 in total. The ground was fairly soft so that was a bonus after many months of digging hard ground like concrete. The park itself has been well hunted over the years but we still pulled a few good finds from there. A couple of pennys, a threepence, silver ring, couple of buckles, locks, some modern coinage and a couple of badges.
There was another hunt in Newcastle to coincide with our club meeting. Andrew our President, cleaned up with some really nice finds, including 2 pennys, 3 half pennys, a wheat, a threepence, a 1940 German coin, forces button and a rising sun collar badge. Great hunt Andrew.
