The Leichhardt Hotel in Mt Morgan was the venue for our AGM this year, great place to stop in for a beer if your up that way.
As a result of the AGM, this year’s committee is as follows.
Club President – Andrew Mason.
Vice President – Marvin Curnuck.
Secretary – Beth Fillod.
Treasurer – Graham Ward.

Okay after the business side of things were finished we headed out to a location near by for some detecting. Boy was there targets everywhere, pull tabs mixed with aluminium can slaw. But as they say, amongst the trash is the treasure. We found quite a haul of coins, some lovely pre-decimals, a few pieces of jewellery and Andrew found an old toy spitfire aeroplane, what a beauty. Taking the find of the day though was Graham’s 1860 Penny, what a ripper…160 years old.
