We had a great little meeting on Sunday at Alan Bray Park. We welcomed 6 new members on the day, which is great, welcome to the club guys. Apart from the angry magpies, it was a great day for detecting, there was a CQ Detectorists Token, a lovely Gold coin and a mixed-decimal coin spill hidden in all different locations in the park, thanks to Marvin. We all enjoyed searching for the targets. It was good to see that 2 of the 3 hidden items were found by new members of our club, they were pretty stoked. There were also 4 older coins found on the day, 3 Victorian pennys, a half penny and some decimal coins, as well as the usual good old aluminium canslaw.
